Broncos Looking At Centers For Upcoming Draft
2 years agoThe Denver Broncos are doing their due diligence on the centers in this year's draft class. Lloyd Cushenberry III, a third-rounder in 2020, has been inconsistent, and the team wants to create competition for him. However, the Broncos don't pick until the third round (No. 67 overall) and are unlikely to trade up. General manager George Paton said Denver would consider ways to get more picks, but any move up would likely require trading a starter or future first- or second-round picks. The Broncos shown much interest in doing either of those things and had high price tags on wide receivers Jerry Jeudy and Courtland Sutton when interested teams asked around this offseason. Ohio State center Luke Wypler makes sense for Denver in the third round.
