Broncos Don't Feel Pressured To Take A QB In The Draft
4 years agoThe Denver Broncos have been a candidate to add another quarterback this offseason after Drew Lock was highly inconsistent under center in 2020. However, they may not add a signal-caller in the draft, as they feel they have options at QB outside of picking one with the ninth overall pick in the first round this Thursday. If the Broncos don't take a quarterback in the first round, they are expected to make a move at the position. Perhaps they'll wait for a sleeper in the second round or later to compete with Lock in training camp. Brett Rypien and Jeff Driskel are the other QBs on the roster as of right now. Although Denver has a new general manager, the feeling this offseason is that the Broncos want to give Lock another shot to prove he's the guy in 2021, but that doesn't mean they won't give him some competition.
