Broncos Defense Records Two Interceptions
4 years agoThe Denver Broncos Defense allowed 30 points to the Los Angeles Chargers and rookie quarterback Justin Herbert in Week 8, but they were able to record two interceptions and came up with some crucial third-down stops in the second half to allow the offense to complete the impressive comeback for the victory. Denver's D wasn't special by any means in this one, but they were a top-10 fantasy unit and were able to get to Herbert for two sacks. They'd been pretty stout against the run this year, but they gave up 210 rushing yards to the Bolts. A lack of turnovers has been their biggest issue, so it was nice to see them record the two picks against the rookie QB. Against a Falcons offense that can put up points and has turned the ball over just seven times all year, Denver's D will be a low-upside fantasy unit in Week 9.
