Broncos Defense Has Strong Showing In Loss To Baltimore
2 years agoThe Denver Broncos defense did what they've been doing all season long by limiting the Baltimore Ravens to 10 points and just 285 total yards of offense in the 10-9 loss on Sunday in Week 13. It helped that dual-threat quarterback Lamar Jackson (knee) was injured in the first half and never returned to the game. The Broncos defense recorded four sacks of Jackson and Tyler Huntley and recorded two interceptions, both by All-Pro safety Justin Simmons. Denver's D has been a better real-life defense than a fantasy one in 2022, mostly because of a lack of turnovers. They rewarded anyone that stuck with them this weekend against Baltimore, but you'll probably want to avoid them altogether next week against the high-octane offense of the Kansas City Chiefs.
