2 years agoThe Denver Broncos defense entered the Week 3 game against the San Francisco 49ers on Sunday night as one of the most stingy units in the league in terms of points allowed, albeit against two pretty weak offenses of the Seattle Seahawks and Houston Texans. They continued that trend in the 11-10 victory while sacking quarterback Jimmy Garoppolo four times, picking him off once, recovering two fumbles and recording a safety in which Jimmy G accidentally ran out of the back of the end zone. Denver's D limited San Fran to 267 total yards of offense and they've allowed just 251.3 total yards per game through three weeks, third-best in the NFL.
