Broncos Defense 2019 Fantasy Outlook: Defensive-Minded HC Vic Fangio Taking Over
5 years agoVic Fangio has taken over as the Broncos HC and he’s extremely defensive-minded. He lead the Bears elite defense over the last three seasons and will now move his brains out to Denver. They lost Bradley Roby and Darian Stewart, but upgraded with Kareem Jackson. They ranked fifth in 2018 with 27 (1.8 TPG) takeaways and everything has to do with Von Miller and Nick Chubb. Their QB pressure makes this team go and allows the secondary to force turnovers. The Broncos don’t break into that tier of defense where you need to move out of those last two rounds, but I don’t mind drafting them in the 15th if you think Fangio revitalizes the team and allows the defense to be off the field for at least a few minutes.
