New York Islanders center Brock Nelson is playing the best hockey of his career and hit 11 games with his career-best point streak on Tuesday. He scored in a third consecutive game in a 3-2 overtime loss to the Senators and has registered seven goals and six assists in total during the streak. Over the past 20 years, only John Tavares has managed a longer point streak in the Islanders' colors. The scoring spurt has helped Nelson to break the 50-point barrier for only the fourth time in his career, and the 31-year-old is on track for a huge improvement from his last year's career-high 59 points. He has logged 22 goals and 52 points across 57 appearances.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller
