3 years agoThe Milwaukee Brewers optioned left-hander Aaron Ashby to Triple-A Nashville on Thursday and recalled right-hander Alec Bettinger from Nashville in a corresponding move. The team also activated left-hander Angel Perdomo (back) from the 10-day injured list and optioned him to Nashville. Ashby, the team's No. 7 prospect, allowed seven runs (four earned) in just two-thirds of an inning in his major league debut on Wednesday against the Chicago Cubs as the opener in a bullpen game. It wasn't the debut he was looking for, but Ashby still has a bright future as a starting pitcher that can miss plenty of bats. He's worth watching in dynasty/keeper formats, but he'll need to work on his control and command back in the minors.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
