3 years agoTampa Bay Rays left-hander Brendan McKay (shoulder) had some shoulder discomfort after his first game action last week in the Florida Complex League and went to visit with a doctor. "We think and hope that it was kind of more just kind of scar tissue adjusting a little bit. We'll probably have more on that in a couple days," manager Kevin Cash said. McKay is trying to return from labrum surgery, so this one is worth watching for those that have him stashed in dynasty/keeper leagues. Tampa's No. 3 prospect is more attractive on the mound in fantasy, but it's unclear exactly what his role will be in the long term for the Rays. McKay has shown solid command and plenty of swing-and-miss stuff to have plenty of upside at the next level, but he's unlikely to be much of an option in redraft leagues the rest of the way in 2021.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
