Braves Hopeful Travis d’Arnaud Could Return In August
4 years agoAtlanta Braves catcher Travis d'Arnaud (thumb) still doesn't have a concrete return date, although team officials are hopeful he can make it back sometime in August. The veteran is currently sitting on the 60-day injured list after undergoing surgery to repair a damaged ligament in his left thumb, which occurred during a matchup against the Blue Jays about a month ago. The 32-year-old is currently batting just .220 this season, a significant dip from the previous year. However, the upside is there, so fantasy managers with room to spare can consider hanging on to him.
