Braves Activate Travis d'Arnaud From Injured List
2 years agoThe Atlanta Braves activated catcher Travis d'Arnaud from the seven-day concussion injured list on Monday and optioned catcher Chadwick Tromp to Triple-A Gwinnett after Sunday's game in a corresponding move. d'Arnaud will return to Atlanta after missing almost a full month with his head injury. Expect the Braves to ease the 34-year-old backstop into action at designated hitter, but he will also return to splitting time behind the dish with Sean Murphy. d'Arnaud went hitless in three minor-league rehab games and will return to a .333 average (11-for-33) with three doubles, five RBI and three runs scored in his eight games before he landed on the injured list. d'Arnaud is looking for his first home run of 2023.
