Brandon Nimmo Dealing With Shoulder Soreness
3 years agoNew York Mets outfielder Brandon Nimmo (shoulder) experienced left shoulder soreness after a diving catch that he made in Game 1 of a doubleheader on Wednesday, and he was scheduled to be out of the starting lineup on Thursday before the game against the Pittsburgh Pirates was postponed. However, Nimmo was expected to be available off the bench, so there's a chance he could return to the starting lineup on Friday against Pirates right-hander Max Kranick, who will be making just his second major league start. The on-base machine recently returned from a long stay on the injured list, but he hasn't missed much of a beat, going 8-for-22 (.364) with three RBI and two doubles in six games. Especially in leagues that count OBP, Nimmo should be owned in the vast majority of leagues.
