6 months agoNew York Mets outfielder Brandon Nimmo (neck) said he is close to returning, but it hasn't been discussed if he will go on a minor league rehab assignment. We would think Nimmo will need a rehab assignment before returning, but who knows. The 26-year-old has been battling neck issues since a collision with an outfield wall in April, and he's hit just .200/.344/.323 with three homers and 14 RBI in 130 at-bats in 2019. Nimmo could be more productive with better health, but those in deep mixed leagues will likely take a wait-and-see approach first when he's back with the Mets.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
