Brandon McManus A Borderline Starter In Week 1
Brandon McManus finished tied for 17th in overall fantasy points in standard scoring at his position. But the addition of nine-time Pro Bowl quarterback Russell Wilson in 2022 gives the offense a much higher ceiling heading into the Week 1 season opener on Monday night against the Seattle Seahawks. The 31-year-old kicker has one of the stronger legs in the NFL and made 83.9 percent of his 31 field-goal attempts in 17 games last year while missing just one of his 34 extra-point tries. Wilson will give Denver's offense much more scoring opportunities than Teddy Bridgewater did in 2021, in turn making McManus more attractive in fantasy. He'll be a borderline starting option in 12-team leagues on Monday night.
