Brandon Marsh Out With Bruised Knee
2 years agoPhiladelphia Phillies outfielder Brandon Marsh (knee) is out of the starting lineup on Wednesday against the Toronto Blue Jays due to a bruised left knee. Marsh injured his knee attempting to make a catch at the wall in Tuesday's game and is day-to-day for now. The good news is that he was able to test his knee by running and taking batting practice before the game on Wednesday. Matt Vierling will get the starting nod in center field on Wednesday and will hit ninth in the batting order against Blue Jays right-hander Kevin Gausman. Vierling won't be very attractive for DFS lineups in the nine-hole for Philly, and he's also hitting just .227 (10-for-44) with no homers, four RBI, five runs scored and six strikeouts in 14 games this month.
