Brandon Johnson Catches Three Passes Against Cardinals
2 years agoDenver Broncos rookie wide receiver Brandon Johnson had an elevated role in the Week 15 contest against the Arizona Cardinals on Sunday with both Courtland Sutton (hamstring) and Kendall Hinton (hamstring) unable to play. In the 24-15 victory, Johnson caught three of his four targets for 30 receiving yards. Johnson scored the first touchdown of his career on two receptions and 10 yards in Week 12, but he didn't catch a pass the last two weeks. He was the clear No. 2 wideout behind Jerry Jeudy in a game in which the Broncos dominated on the ground. The 24-year-old could see increased opportunities again in Week 16 against the Los Angeles Rams, but only if both Sutton and Hinton miss another game. And even then, Johnson will be off the fantasy radar.
