Brandon Clarke Expected to Miss 6-9 More Weeks
Memphis Grizzlies forward/center Brandon Clarke had an arthroscopic procedure on his right knee this past offseason, and he is starting to ramp up his basketball activities, according to the team's medical update. Clarke still has a long way to go, though, and is expected to return to play in six to nine weeks, putting his return around Christmas at the earlier end and mid-January at the outside edge. The Grizzlies are also without Zach Edey (ankle) right now, leaving Jaren Jackson Jr., Santi Aldama, and Jock Landale to fill time at center. Edey should be back well before Clarke, and Clarke will likely back up Edey when he's ready to get back into the mix further down the road.
