2 years agoSan Francisco 49ers wide receiver Brandon Aiyuk caught two passes for 57 yards and a touchdown in the Niners' 35-7 trouncing of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. He was targeted three times. His touchdown reception at the end of the second quarter was for 32 yards and over 20 yards in the air, so San Francisco still can make use of his deep threat with Brock Purdy under center. That touchdown put the Niners up 28-0 at the half, and they only threw the ball five times in the second half. Aiyuk would have more opportunities in a closer game.
