Bradley Zimmer Close To Rehab Assignment
6 years agoCleveland Indians manager Terry Francona said that outfielder Bradley Zimmer (shoulder) will stay in Arizona at extended spring training for five or six more days before starting a rehab assignment with Triple-A Columbus. The 26-year-old has been out all year after having offseason shoulder surgery, but he should be an outfield regular in Cleveland when he's ready to return. His combination of power and speed -- he stole 18 bases in 101 games his rookie season in 2017 -- will make him attractive in deep mixed leagues whenever he makes his season debut.
