Bradley Beal "Likely To Miss A Few Weeks"
12 months agoAccording to Shams Charania of The Athletic, Phoenix Suns guard Bradley Beal (ankle) "is likely to miss a few weeks." Beal sprained his right ankle during Friday's meeting with the New York Knicks, ending his night after playing just five minutes. The former Wizard has averaged only 14.7 points in his first season with the Suns, the second-lowest mark in his career. He's also appeared in only six games, missing much of the 2023-24 campaign with a back injury. But now Beal will go back on the shelf, so it will take a while before fantasy managers get him back in the lineup. Of course, his absence means more ball handling work for Devin Booker, which isn't bad for fantasy purposes. It should also mean more minutes for Grayson Allen and Eric Gordon (leg), at least once the latter gets back on the floor.
