Bobby Dalbec Homers Twice In Loss To Guardians

Boston Red Sox first baseman/third baseman Bobby Dalbec went 2-for-3 with two home runs, five RBI, two runs scored and a strikeout in the 7-6 loss to the Cleveland Guardians on Wednesday. Dalbec is now hitting .206/.279/.370 with 10 home runs, 28 RBI, 29 runs scored and two stolen bases in 272 plate appearances over 89 games for the Red Sox this year. The 27-year-old has plenty of power to spare and has hit half of his 10 home runs in the month of July while driving in 10 runs in 19 games, but there's too much swing and miss to his game to provide fantasy managers with a reliable batting average right now.
