Cornerback Blessuan Austin was a surprise cut of the New York Jets earlier this week, but it didn't take long for him to find a new organization -- Seattle. Austin started 10 games last season for the Jets, with 16 of his 18 career appearances having come as a starter. The Queens, N.Y., native now heads West to join a similar defensive scheme under Ken Norton Jr. Seattle dealt cornerback Ahkello Witherspoon to the Steelers just prior to finalizing its 53-man roster, with Austin now set to help offset any depth concerns for what the Seahawks are hoping is an improved secondary in 2021.--Jesse BorekRead More News
