Winnipeg Jets forward Blake Wheeler (lower body) was placed on the long-term Injured Reserve on Sunday. The Jets captain is set to miss his third consecutive game on Sunday against St. Louis, and he'll now be out for at least 10 games and 24 days. Wheeler got hurt just as he had managed to put together a nice five-game point streak, during which he averaged two points a night.
