Bills Signing Devonta Freeman To Practice Squad
4 years agoThe Buffalo Bills are signing former Giants running back Devonta Freeman to their practice squad on Tuesday, according to his agent, Drew Rosenhaus. Buffalo is in need of some extra running back depth due to the injury to rookie Zack Moss (ankle), who will miss the rest of the postseason. The Bills also have T.J. Yeldon and Taiwan Jones on the active roster to back up Devin Singletary, who should see the lion's share of the backfield work on Saturday in the Divisional Round against the Ravens. The 28-year-old Freeman was on Injured Reserve with New York before being released. He had 54 carries for 172 yards (3.2 yards per carry) and one touchdown while also adding seven catches for 58 yards in five games for the G-Men this season. You can ignore him in fantasy playoff leagues.
