Bills Expected To Re-Sign Jordan Poyer
2 years agoESPN's Field Yates expects the Buffalo Bills to re-sign impending free-agent Pro Bowl safety Jordan Poyer this offseason. He continues to play at a high level, and both sides have been interested in a contract extension for some time. Poyer will be entering his age-32 season in 2023, so this will be his best shot at one more big contract. He had four interceptions and eight pass breakups in 12 games this year and has played a significant role in Buffalo's defensive rise recently. If Buffalo chooses to go in another direction, the first-time Pro Bowler should have plenty of interest on the open market. In addition to Poyer, linebacker Tremaine Edmunds is another impending free agent on the defensive side of the ball for Buffalo that they will probably want back.
