1 year agoNew England Patriots head coach Bill Belichick praised quarterback Mac Jones' improvement heading into this Sunday's Week 1 contest against the Philadelphia Eagles. "Mac's had a good offseason and has had a really good camp," Belichick said. "He understands the offense -- how it works, how to get his teammates involved, how to help them be productive. So he's had a really good stretch here; it's been consistent all the way through." Belichick also said Jones is in "excellent physical condition" and has "made a lot of improvement in reads, decision-making and timing." Meanwhile, the Pats haven't announced who will be Jones' backup heading into Week 1. Jones doesn't really have anywhere to go but up after last year's disappointment, but in fantasy terms, his ceiling remains low.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
