6 years agoChicago Cubs manager Joe Maddon said second baseman/outfielder Ben Zobrist (hip) was feeling better by the end of the game on Tuesday, and the manager is optimistic that Zobrist can play Wednesday. Zobrist managed a double, run scored and RBI in three plate appearances before leaving the game as a precaution. Don't be surprised if he sits Wednesday, but he isn't dealing with a serious injury. He doesn't do much for fantasy owners in the counting stats, but Zobrist has a solid .313 average and .398 on-base percentage.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
