Ben Simmons Fills The Stat Sheet In Loss To Celtics
5 years agoThe Philadelphia 76ers may have gotten trounced by the Celtics 116-95, though their point guard Ben Simmons came to play. He was aggressive and locked in on both ends of the floor. In 37 minutes, the former No. 1 overall pick tallied 24 points, nine rebounds, five assists, and one steal. Simmons scored the ball with great accuracy from the field (9 of 14), though as usual, he had difficulty converting at the charity stripe, only making five of his nine free throws. Next up for Philly is the Heat on Monday, considering they are playing against a Miami squad that is 21-3 at home and giving up the eighth-least amount of points in the paint, it will be difficult for Simmons to follow that up with another performance of this caliber.
