Ben Roethlisberger Will Have To Manage Pain In Week 3
3 years agoPittsburgh Steelers quarterback Ben Roethlisberger (pectoral) should be able to play in Week 3 against the Cincinnati Bengals, but he will be dealing with pain when he throws. Roethlisberger suffered a left pectoral injury in the Week 2 loss to the Las Vegas Raiders. Big Ben should be out there this Sunday, but don't be surprised if he misses practice time this week. The 39-year-old veteran gunslinger has completed 62.5 percent of his throws through the first two weeks for 6.7 yards per attempt, 483 passing yards, two touchdowns and one interception. The Bengals defense shouldn't scare fantasy managers, but Roethlisberger's injury and the team's poor offensive line are what you need to be concerned about. He'll be a low-end QB2 heading into Week 3 while managing pain.
