Ben Roethlisberger Questions Play-Calling
3 years agoWhen asked about certain formations in the offense in the Week 2 loss to the Las Vegas Raiders, Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback Ben Roethlisberger said: "You'll have to ask coach Canada that. That's what he's calling, what we're going with. We got some really good football players that you want to get on the football field. So, if you don't have them out there, they're sitting on the bench doing nothing." Roethlisberger also hinted that the team no longer has a no-huddle offense that allows him the liberty to change plays. Big Ben went 27-for-40 for 295 yards, one touchdown and an interception in the loss, and he hasn't looked good at all through two weeks behind another unspectacular offensive line. Pittsburgh has a nice Week 3 matchup against the Bengals, but they could also be without top wideout Diontae Johnson, who was injured on the final play in Week 2.
