Bears Give Tremaine Edmunds A Four-Year Deal
2 years agoThe Chicago Bears agreed to a four-year, $72 million deal with former Buffalo Bills linebacker Tremaine Edmunds on Monday, according to a source. The deal includes $50 million guaranteed and is the largest four-year contract for an inside linebacker in NFL history. The 24-year-old former first-rounder in 2018 has had at least 100 total tackles in each of his five seasons with the Bills and is one of the best inside linebackers in the league. Paired with T.J. Edwards, Chicago suddenly has one of the better linebacking duos in the NFL. Even though he's now in Chicago, Tremaine Edmunds should remain a top IDP linebacker in 2023 and beyond.
