Bears Expected To Sign Lamar Miller
4 years agoThe Chicago Bears are expected to sign veteran running back Lamar Miller to their practice squad, according to a source. Miller, who has been working his way back from an ACL tear last August, will give Chicago some running back depth after they lost Tarik Cohen (knee) for the season last week. The 29-year-old hasn't played since 2018, but he was a Pro Bowler that year for Houston, running the ball 210 times for 973 yards and five touchdowns while also catching 25 passes for 163 yards and a TD. Miller should remain on waiver wires in most leagues, but he could eventually become fantasy relevant, as the Bears have only Ryan Nall and rookie Artavis Pierce behind David Montgomery right now.
