Miami Heat center Bam Adebayo (back) has been ruled out for Monday's game against the Clippers. The big man was listed as available to begin the day. However, after he was downgraded to questionable, he'll now miss his first game of the 2024-25 campaign. Jimmy Butler (suspension) remains out, so the team could rely more on Tyler Herro to pick up the slack on the scoring end. But players like Haywood Highsmith, Jaime Jaquez Jr., and Nikola Jovic may also see an increase in scoring opportunities.--Dennis Clausen
