Ayo Dosunmu Set To Receive "Reasonable" Extension
1 year agoChicago Bulls guard Ayo Dosunmu is expected to get a "reasonable" 2-3-year extension, according to Sam Smith of bulls.com. The Chicago native has finished his second season in the league and is a restricted free agent with a $5.2 million qualifying offer. Dosunmu had an underwhelming campaign for the Bulls and Smith believes that he has "limited market value" because of it. The 23-year-old averaged 8.6 points, 2.8 rebounds and 2.6 assists in 26.2 minutes per game, making 51 starts. He has failed to impress, but Smith notes that Dosunmu is well-liked by the coaching staff and management, which is one of the key factors that will allow Dosunmu to develop his game in his hometown.
