Toronto Maple Leafs center Auston Matthews crushed the Flames on Thursday night, scoring his 11th career hat trick and adding an assist in a 4-3 road win. Following a poor start, the Maple Leafs found themselves two goals down, but the Matthews show gave them a much-needed win after a four-game slide. All of the goals came in even-strength situations for Matthews while he collected his assist with the man advantage. It's his 14th career four-point game, and only three players in franchise history have managed more, with Darryl Sittler holding the all-time record with 26 games. Matthews continues to lead the league in goals, with 37 markers registered, and he's 11th in overall scoring with 54 points in 42 games.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller
