Austin Lingo suffered a unanimous-decision loss to Melquizael Costa at UFC Vegas 77 on Saturday. Lingo entered the night having been submitted by Nate Landwehr earlier this year. When the first round ended, it was potentially a 10-8 round in favor of Costa, as Lingo barely landed any blows and got hurt several times with shots to the body. Throughout the fight, it was evident that body kicks hurt Lingo the most. In 15 minutes of action, Lingo landed 39 significant strikes compared to Costa's 108. The loss moves Lingo to 2-3 in the UFC, and he has now lost back-to-back bouts.--Alen Kurbasic - RotoBaller
