Austin Cindric needs a win ideally as he sits 105 points behind Bubba Wallace in the standings. The Team Penske Ford driver began outside Row 4 and only lost five spots overall. That was not too bad. However, this year, Cindric qualified 17th on Saturday. Most of the Ford cars looked very slow in qualifying as they lost tenths of a second in the more technical turn areas. The No. 2 car did not show the speed of Michael McDowell in the turns but did so on most of the straightaways. Cindric might move up a few spots on Sunday afternoon.--Chris Wassel - RotoBaller
