Austin Cindric was lightning fast during qualifying and only Joey Logano kept him from the pole for Sunday's Ambetter Health 400 from Atlanta Motor Speedway. Cindric got around the track in 31.262 seconds. That was a mere 0.006 seconds slower than his Team Penske teammate. The No. 2 Ford was quickest in turns 1 and 2 before slipping off a bit in turns 3 and 4. Cindric could have been saving something for Sunday. Cindric lurked around in the July race and wound up third after a fifth place start.
