Austin Bashi suffered his first career loss on Saturday at UFC Vegas 101 as he dropped a decision to Christian Rodriguez. Bashi was making his UFC debut and entered the bout with a ton of hype. However, he struggled to control Rodriguez on the ground, as the veteran was able to scramble and get the better positions and land the more damaging shots on the ground. With the loss, Bashi is now 13-1 as a pro and should get a step-down in competition next time out.--Cole Shelton
