Ausar Thompson Fills Box Score In Win Over Toronto

Detroit Pistons guard/forward Ausar Thompson was the side's leading scorer with 17 points and helped out in every area as the team defeated Toronto on Wednesday 94-90. He came one rebound short of a double-double, had three assists, picked up four steals, and swatted away two shots. Thompson finished with 7-for-14 shooting, hitting 1-for-4 from downtown. On the downside, Thompson had seven turnovers in 31 minutes. The No. 5 pick of last month's draft had scored only 19 points in total across his first two Summer League appearances. However, he has been showing off great versatility and the Pistons fans should be very excited about what Thompson can bring to the table. The 20-year-old has produced 12.0 points, 8.7 rebounds, 4.0 assists, 2.7 assists, and 2.3 blocks in the Summer League.
