3 months agoAtlanta Hawks center Clint Capela (calf) has been deemed questionable to play in Friday's contest vs. the Pistons as he works his way back from a right calf strain. Capela has missed three straight and four of Atlanta's last five games, allowing Onyeka Okongwu to take on a larger role in the frontcourt. Capela is one of four qualified players to average 12 boards per game thus far in 2022-23, as he has secured double-digit rebounds in 21 of his 26 appearances. The nature of his injury, along with over a week off of game action, likely means that Capela will face a minutes cap whenever he is green lighted to return.--Jesse Borek
