1 year agoDetroit Tigers starting pitcher Mike Fiers has been traded to the Oakland Athletics on Monday. In exchange for Fiers the Tigers will receive two players to be named later or cash considerations. Fiers holds a 3.48 ERA and 87/26 K/BB ratio in 119 innings over 21 starts with Detroit this season. Left-handed pitcher Jeremy Bleich has been designated for assignment to make room for Fiers on the 40-man roster. The move to Oakland should give Fiers a small boost in terms of fantasy value.--Andy Webb - RotoBaller
