Arturs Silovs Set For NHL Debut
2 years agoVancouver Canucks goaltender Arturs Silovs will make his NHL debut Wednesday versus the Rangers. The 21-year-old Latvian is getting a look in the big league after impressing in the AHL with a 21-9-4 record and three shutouts. He has allowed 2.48 goals per game with a .906 save percentage. The Canucks have struggled badly on the defensive end all season, so Silovs can expect to have a busy debut. Especially against a team like the Rangers, who are full of firepower and average 3.32 goals per game.
