Texas Rangers starting pitcher Ariel Jurado will make his major league debut Saturday. Jurado will take the place of Cole Hamels, who has still not recovered from his neck stiffness. In 2018, Jurado has thrown 35 innings at Double-A and has a 2.57 ERA. The trouble with Jurado is there does not appear to be much upside. In his three seasons at Double-A, he has just 148 strikeouts in 235 2/3 innings. With this jump to the majors it would be a shock if he suddenly starts striking hitters out. Jurado has very little fantasy value at this point, and should be avoided outside of AL-only leagues.--Ben Rolfe
