Antonio Gibson Resumes Practicing Thursday

Washington Football Team running back Antonio Gibson (shin) returned to practice on Thursday after sitting out on Wednesday. Gibson was on the sidelines without a helmet at the end of the Week 6 loss to the Kansas City Chiefs and underwent an MRI exam on Monday. It's unclear what's bothering him besides the hairline fracture in his shin that he's played through the last couple of games. The 23-year-old hadn't really been slowed until last week when he saw a season-low 10 carries for 44 yards. It looks like Gibson should be able to play in Week 7 against the Green Bay Packers, but he could cede more touches to backup J.D. McKissic and will be more of an RB2 in a game that could feature plenty of short dump-off passes to McKissic.
