Florida Panthers center Anton Lundell is expected to play Thursday versus Minnesota despite sitting out Wednesday's practice. According to Panthers head coach Paul Maurice, Lundell was kept off the ice for precautionary reasons. Florida is already set to start the campaign without Sam Bennett (lower body), and losing another center would have been a painful blow. Lundell has been a solid middle-six piece for the Panthers and finished last season with 33 points (12 goals, 21 assists) across 73 outings. He could pick up a few extra minutes with Bennett on the shelf, although Eetu Luostarinen will be his direct replacement as the second-line center.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller
