Anthony Walker Visiting The Browns
4 years agoIndianapolis Colts free-agent linebacker Anthony Walker is visiting with the Cleveland Browns on Thursday, according to a source. The Browns defense has already added safety John Johnson III and edge rusher Takkarist McKinley while re-signing linebacker Malcolm Smith. Walker, a former fifth-round pick is coming off three solid seasons with the Colts and could be a boost to Cleveland's linebacking depth if they add him. He had 105 tackles, four passes defensed and one interception through 15 games in 2018 and followed that up with a career-high 124 tackles, 2.5 sacks and two passes defensed in the following season. Walker had only 92 tackles and one interception in 2020, but he's proven to be an elite tackler, which is something the Browns lacked last year.
