Anthony Richardson, Gardner Minshew Splitting First-Team Reps
2 years agoThe Indianapolis Colts are splitting their first-team repetitions at organized team activities on Thursday between rookie first-round quarterback Anthony Richardson and Gardner Minshew. There's a reason why the Colts drafted Richardson at No. 4 overall this year. They believe he can be the future of the franchise at the most important position on the football field, but it might take some time. Ideally, the 21-year-old signal-caller would be ready to go for Week 1 of his first NFL campaign, but that may not happen. If they think he needs a little more seasoning, they'll go with the more experienced Minshew. Richardson is a physical freak, but it takes more than that to succeed at the highest level. Consider the talented rookie a much better dynasty/keeper investment in 2023 than in redraft fantasy leagues.
