Detroit Red Wings forward Anthony Mantha pocketed a pair of goals on five shots Friday, including his fourth power-play goal of the season. In a 7-3 loss to the Hurricanes, Mantha and linemate Andreas Athanasiou were the majority of Detroit's offensive attack, generating plenty of opportunities despite cashing in only once at even-strength. Mantha now has 14 points in 14 games but has slowed down to a pace of 0.6 points per game after his red hot first four games of the season. Now playing on Detroit's second line alongside Athanasiou and Valtteri Filppula, Mantha can still be counted on to at least match his 25 goals from last season.--Russ Ivanac - RotoBaller
