7 months agoWashington Nationals right-hander Anibal Sanchez was one out away from posting a quality start on Monday against the Philadelphia Phillies. Sanchez tossed 5 2/3 innings of three-run ball, allowing seven hits and two walks while striking out six. The veteran was hit with the loss, but it was a step in the right direction after being forced to exit his last start against Philadelphia with a hip injury. Sanchez lines up to face the Pittsburgh Pirates in his next start this weekend.--Adam
